Phil Frost "Intuitive Mathematics" @ Galeria Javier Lopez

Famed New York-based artist Phil Frost takes his talents abroad for his latest exhibition – “Intuitive Mathematics” – on display at Galeria Javier Lopez in Madrid, Spain. Those familiar recognize the artist for his meticulously-worked paintings, which find layers of repeating, swooping geometric prints overlapping themselves – not dissimilar in appearance to a totem pole. This particular showing is mostly composed of large-scale works from the artist, an assortment of pieces ranging from sculptures to wall-dominating canvases.
