ASICS offers a new iteration of the hallmark Gel Lyte III this season, sourcing one of the prized Japanese textiles for a new two-part collection. The “Okayama Denim” pack, as the name suggests, finds two versions of the Gel Lyte III decked out with a base layer of super-premium denim from Okayama. The first version finds the denim meticulously stitched with tonal contrasts – forming a kind of exposed camouflage effect – while a second version masks that same pattern in rich black leather paneling at the forefoot and sides.
