Matt Reason was a pro-skater who ushered in an era of skating that focussed on powerful technicalities, drawing attention to Philadelphia in the ’90s. Chances are, if you do wallrides or skate on 60-plus-millimeter wheels, it was likely because of him. After skating for Acme, Adrenalin, ZOO YORK among others, Reason’s life was tragically cut short in 2014.
