McQ by Alexander McQueen x PUMA 2015 Spring/Summer Collection

McQ by Alexander McQueen has launched their third collaboration with the athletic German powerhouse brand that is, PUMA. The collection is a series of renditions gazetting the edgy aesthetic of McQ on a range of classic and new PUMA silhouettes.  As is to be expected from such a duo, the aspect of sport was a major inspiration for the persona of the collection and can be seen through their choice of materials — where technical mesh and reflective layers meet premium leathers and a 1950s Formica inspired color palette.  Most notably are the performance inspired Run Mids. A key to the McQ SS15 collection, this particular model is composed of a Nubuck cage design and is accentuated by a metallic foil and fluro-orange leather.
